The Only Species that Expects the Fruit of ‘Result’

Posted by admin on March 31, 2008 in New Age Hall

The orange trees were rising higher and higher to seize their property. The birds were competing to reach the sky to grab the beautiful orange fruit hanging all alone in the sky. After struggling, they gave up assuming it was an unreachable magical orange. Their vision of orange was an illusion; it was not an orange but the ‘Sun’ which woke up from its deep sleep to awaken the sleepy souls. The rising of the sun was as if it was briskly declaring the world to admire its color, shape and beauty. If not, they would not even dare to glance at it. The Sun slowly started to spread its powerful rays all over the land. But there was a place where it was unable to indicate its mighty arrival with pride. It was a house wrapped in darkness with Peter lazily sleeping inside.

All of a sudden Peter heard some voices. He opened the windows but was flabbergasted to realize that he could feel the presence of some beings with life and voice but no form. His eyelids didn’t dare to close even for a second. From their conversation, he understood there were few voices exhibiting their greatness.

The first voice started its conversation thus–
“I am the transparent, shiny flowing liquid that quenches every being’s thirst. I am the Water who loves to see their passion for me. Their happiness suffices my thirst. I am ever flowing and do not get tired of my sojourn towards my beloved- the Ocean. I am always of use to all the species in the Universe. Can they expect life with out me? You may ask what I get in return. My nature is not to expect any Fruit of ‘Result.’”

The second voice responded -
“I agree you are selfless. But am I not so being the vast Sky? I shadow every living and non-living thing below me. I stand as a sole witness to their merits and sins. I am the abode for the kingdom of Light. The Sun that brightens their day, the Moon that illumes their night, countless Stars and Planets bedeck me. The clouds which sprinkle their care in the form of rain take pride to hide in me. I am omnipresent and no being below can dare to hide from my view. Humanity can see but cannot feel me but yet with out me they cannot dare to live their lives. Still I do not expect any Fruit of Result.”

“I agree with you”, raised third voice.
“I am the very basis of every being. With out my gravitational force, they dare not stand erect. The plants, animals, birds, human beings and many other thousands of species live on me. How ever high they grow or fly, how ever long they sojourn, at last they have to land on me-the Earth. With out me, they cannot imagine life. Yet I do not expect any Fruit of Result.”

“My heat is life to the beings which die of cold”, said fourth voice. Even people in the ancient age realized my worth in preparing food and succeeded to produce me by striking two stones. I am the Fire and so do not discriminate between rich, poor, good and bad. Whatever form it is, it becomes ash when I hug it. I make production of energy and life on earth easy. Yet I do not expect any Fruit of Result.”

“What can I talk about myself who is the very life of every being? Can any one dare to breathe with out me? Can you describe your experience of happiness of my coolness? I am no more than the Air”, said fifth voice. “The moment you can’t find me, you are dead. Yet I do not expect any Fruit of Result.”

All the voices sounded alike thus-”it is only the Human being who expects returns for his every little help. He has no satisfaction; he desires more, helps little and expects more fruits of results unlike any being in the universe.
O humanity, dig the treasures of precious messages from our selfless lives and remain human. If not, we 5 elements of nature will teach you a hard-hitting lesson for your lives.”

This verbal blow revived Peter at once from his sleep and the truth that the whole conversation was merely a dream baffled as well as enlightened him. No wonder his mind snatched its essence- Elements of Nature are mighty, selfless and helpful; yet they do not expect.

The Benefits of Link Building to Website Promotion

Posted by admin on in Advertising

Search engine optimization seems to be becoming more and more difficult, with search engine algorithms becoming more complexed with what they require to be important. However, one thing for sure is that backlinks in particular are still one of the most effective search engine optimization techniques.

When you receive links to your website, search engines view this as a vote for your site. Now the value of this vote depends on a number of factors such as the number of outgoing links the page with your link on has, the number of incoming links the page has, and whether the site that contains your link is seen by the search engines as an “authority” site.

There are many contributing factors for your website to rank highly in SERP’s, but one thing for sure is that you need to continually build the number and quality of links pointing to your site. This could be through a number of methods:

1) Reciprocal linking - you contact other webmasters to offer the opportunity to provide a link to their website for the same in return.

2) One-way linking - this can be from many methods. Write articles and submit to article directories, add a link in your sig in forums, post opinions on blogs with a link back to your site (providing that the site owner does not mind!), and link directories.

There is no doubt that one-way linking is more powerful than reciprocal linking by a long way. Also consider that reciprocal linking should be conducted with sites that are relevant to your own websites theme.

Link building using your chosen keyword is also important. For example, should you have a website that you would like to rank highly in search engines for the phrase “Dog Beds”, then if possible have website owner’s link to your site using the search term as the actual link to your site. This shows the search engines that your site is relevant to this keyword phrase, and will rank it highly should you receive many links like this. Merely gaining links to your site is not the ONLY optimization that you must do for your site, as mentioned earlier, but it is certainly a significant contributing factor in search results.

An important note to remember is to never link to “link farms”. These are sites that contain hundreds upon hundreds of outgoing links on one page. Search engines do not tend to look upon them favorable, and in any case if your link is also on this “link farm” page, the benefit will be minimal due to the large number of other links taking a share of the value of links from the page.

There are many free article directories, and free link directories where it is possible to gain good quality links to your site. However, paying for a link from a link directory is often very rewarding. You may find that paid directories will guarantee the acceptance of your website within hours to a couple of days. This is compared to many free directories often taking months to review your submission, and may not even approve it in the end. There are some exceptions but the key is to find them. Another good point to remember is that many new link directories that are well setup will possibly have categories with very few websites currently accepted. This provides a great opportunity to submit your site to benefit from the page’s link value to the fullest.

The new directory at http://www.articleblotter.com/directory offers the perfect opportunity to gain one-way links to your website. The site also allows you to write and submit articles if you choose to in order to gain links. Also keep upto date with article marketing information and site news with the article marketing blog.

America - Is it in Bible prophecies and what can the USA expect at the second coming of Jesus Christ

Posted by admin on March 30, 2008 in Universe Of Religion

This is perhaps the most often asked question heard in
connection with the second coming, at least for Americans. It a
reasonable question for any North American to ask, but it is far
from easy to answer. I would be remiss if I were to say that the
Bible expressly names America in any passage from Genesis to
Revelation. That some passages may refer to America is very
possible but not provable and that is the very kind of
conjecture I will not entertain.

Naturally all the events surrounding the second coming of Christ
are global or universal in nature so they necessarily include
the United States. That the antichrist rules America for the
same short period he rules the rest of the world is covered in
Revelation 13:7. How he gets this powerful and fiercely
independent nation to cow to his will is probably the more
interesting question to try to answer.

Some people believe that America will be forced to comply with
antichrist after an invasion of our shores by a great Eurasian
pact of nations. Mostly, the invasion idea stems from the vision
of George Washington. In that vision it is said that Washington
told this story to his aide who in turn told it to someone else
just before he died at about the time of the civil war.
Washington was told that three great calamities would befall the
nation. Starting with the revolutionary war, following that the
civil war and finally some future war where America would be
invaded. My learned opinion of this vision is, “who knows?”

That America would require force to he pushed into the rule of
the antichrist is easy to believe but the force in question
could be of a different nature. The remaining two views of how
the United States is forced into the final pact of nations are
probably more tenable.

The antichrist does not act alone but he is aided by one the
scripture refers to as the false prophet. Rev. 16:13. 19:20.
20:10 We know little about who this person is today, hut what is
known about him is that he doesn’t come from the same region,
country and perhaps even the same hemisphere as the antichrist.
The antichrist rises up from out of the sea according to Rev.
13:1.

The false prophet rises up out of the land. Rev. 13:1 1-16. The
antichrist rules from the revived Roman Empire or The European
Union. Where the false prophet is stationed exactly is not known
but some think it will be America. This of course is
speculative, even though it is very possible. The false prophet
will probably not be connected to any religion, but it is most
likely he will be a political figure or a minister of science.
What he is may he uncertain, but the influence he wields over
the world is not. He is able to produce signs in the heavens and
draw fire down from heaven at will. Whether he does this
supernaturally through the aide of the devil or engages some
star wars type pyrotechnical display is also not known.

What is known is that his antics are very successful in
persuading the people on earth to give antichrist both credence
and rule. Some biblical scholars have thought that he could come
from America and while this is not known for sure, it gives rise
to the idea that America will he assuaged to join with
antichrist by his direct influence. But again, while it is very
possible, it is still only conjectural at this time. A third and
perhaps a far more likely scenario is that America will undergo
a collapse of all of its markets and financial institutions.
Following a collapse, a desperate nation may seek to join with
antichrist’s emerging economic systems that will be so
successful throughout much of the rest of the world at that
time. Not long ago I asked some people the question, what do you
think would be the most disastrous thing that could happen to
America and what would change its nature significantly, an all
out invasion of our shores or a complete and pervasive financial
collapse? The majority answered that it obviously would be the
collapse of our economy.

America is in the long stretch of the good times. We have many
years between us and the dust bowl days and the stock market
crash of twenty nine. World War Two is also far behind and the
post war boom has become a post war glut. Any people that might
decide to invade the shores of this powerful and fiercely proud
nation would be in great peril. But take away what Americans
really love, their affluence, money and material blessings and
you could make them dance to just about any tune. This is the
theorem that when applied to the question of how America joins
the great evil new world order is the most believable, if not
the most likely.

If the compunction to have more, drives a few to fraud, robbery
and murder, then what will the lack of almost all consumer goods
do to this nation? If history teaches us anything, the answer to
this question is not a pretty one.

Ten Great Holiday Dates For Singles

Posted by admin on in Uncategorized

Dating during the holiday season can be a special treat. Of course, in order to fully experience this you may need to re-order some priorities and make time for yourself and your own personal needs. Don’t give into the temptation to put your social life on hold until after the New Year. Manage those work projects and family demands in a way that leaves you open to try some of the romantic and fun-filled activities that are available at this time of year.

The following 10 date ideas should help put you in the mood and may even inspire you to come up with a few on your own.

1.Have a “progressive” dinner together. Go to one place for your appetizer, another (romantic and intimate) place for your dinner; and then have dessert and coffee (nightcap), in a quiet spot with a beautiful view of holiday lights or other holiday views. Even better, go by limo, so you have all your time to focus on each other and don’t have to worry about all the driving.

2. Take a holiday tour of historic homes in your area. Many areas of the country have these. Often they are done in the evening by candlelight. Afterwards, you can go for a walk and view the surrounding neighborhood lights and decorations. Finish with coffee in a quiet bistro.

3. Get dressed up and attend a holiday concert or play. You can spend a lot or very little on this kind of date, depending where you go for the entertainment. A nice little before or after meal fills out the evening.

4. Go and get hot chocolate with your date; then go look at Christmas lights or displays available in your area. Many places have dazzling displays that light up the night.

5. Go ice skating together. Find a nice place, not too crowded. This brings out the playful side and encourages a lot of interaction with each other. Hold hands, show off, race- be kids again!

6. Attend a religious service together. This could be accomplished by going to a place of worship that one (or both) of you belong to; or you could go to a non-denominational service. An evening service, followed by a supper in an intimate restaurant could fill you with a sense of well-being and peacefulness.

7. Throw a small holiday get-together with a few other couples (or friends). Plan an activity such as trimming the tree or lighting the menorah. Be sure to serve festive food and drink. A bonus would be to have a secret Santa gift exchange. This would be where each person brings a gift ($10.00 or less). Everyone picks a number. Person with number one begins with first selection. Go through all the numbers and open each gift in front of the group. Exchanging is fine and provides some extra fun. Lots of laughs and very interactive.

8. Choose your or his/her place, stay home, rent old holiday classics, light the fire and cook a simple but festive meal together. Play holiday music while you cook. Then watch (a few if you like) holiday favorites together. Or, you can bake Christmas cookies or other holiday treats together while listening to music and enjoying the fire.

9. Work at a soup kitchen one day (meal) together. Sharing the experience of giving is a wonderful way to get to know someone and deepen a relationship. It is also a great way to get into the true holiday spirit. After the clean up, go for a walk followed by coffee or a nightcap.

10. Go to a planetarium (if one is nearby). Enjoy the spectacular winter sky together. There is usually a guided “show” that you can experience as you sit closely, (perhaps hand in hand?). Try to pick out constellations together as you walk back to your car. It is always nice to have an intimate meal afterwards.

See if you can add some ideas of your own to this list. Then put aside several evenings over the next few weeks and awaken those feelings of peace, joy and goodwill for others.

Happy Holidays!

Does Money Buy Happiness? An Economic Intrigue

Posted by admin on in Finance

An enduring paradox in the history of humanity is that although the rich are significantly happier than the poor within any country at any moment, average happiness levels change very little as people’s incomes rise in tandem over time. The question of happiness is central to our lifestyles, religions and societies. It can be argued, in fact, that all that we do is ultimately for the conquest and increase of happiness.

Happiness is also a central tenet of the science of economics: the measurement of changes of income levels vis-a-vis changes in levels of happiness have been interpreted to mean that happiness depends on relative rather than absolute income. However, another interpretation is true, that is gains in happiness that might have been expected to result from growth in absolute income have not materialized because of the ways in which people in affluent societies have generally spent their incomes.

Considerable evidence suggests that if we use an increase in our incomes, as many of us do, simply to buy bigger houses and more expensive cars, then we do not end up any happier than before. But if we use an increase in our incomes to buy more of certain inconspicuous goods - such as freedom from a long commute or a stressful job - then the evidence paints a very different picture. The less we spend on conspicuous consumption goods, the better we can afford to alleviate congestion; and the more time we can devote to family and friends, to exercise, sleep, travel, and other restorative activities. On the best available evidence, reallocating our time and money in these and similar ways would result in healthier, longer- and happier-lives.

A case in point is Japan, which was a very poor country in 1960. Between then and the late 1980s, its per capita income rose almost fourfold, placing it among the highest in the industrialized world. Yet the average happiness level reported by the Japanese was no higher in 1987 than in 1960.They had many more washing machines, cars, cameras, and other things than they used to, but they did not register significant gains on the happiness scale. The same pattern consistently shows up in other countries as well, and that’s a puzzle for economists. If getting more income doesn’t make people happier, why do they go to such lengths to get more income?

It turns out that if we measure the income-happiness relationship in another way, we get just what the economists suspected all along. When we plot average happiness versus average income for clusters of people in a given country at a given time, we see that rich people are in fact much happier than poor people. The evidence thus suggests that if income affects happiness, it is relative, not absolute, income that matters. Some social scientists who have pondered the significance of these patterns have concluded that, at least for people in the world’s richest countries, no useful purpose is served by further accumulations of wealth. On its face, this should be a surprising conclusion, since there are so many seemingly useful things that having additional wealth would enable us to do. There is indeed independent evidence that having more wealth would be a good thing, provided it were spent in certain ways. The key insight supported by this evidence is that even though we appear to adapt quickly to across-the-board increases in our stocks of most material goods, there are specific categories in which our capacity to adapt is more limited. Additional spending in these categories appears to have the greatest capacity to produce significant improvements in well-being.

The human capacity to adapt to dramatic changes in life circumstances is impressive. We adapt swiftly to losses as well as to gains. Ads for the Provincial Lottery show participants fantasizing about how their lives would change if they won. People who actually win the lottery typically report the anticipated rush of euphoria in the weeks after their good fortune. Follow-up studies done after several years, however, indicate that these people are often no happier - and indeed, are in some ways less happy - than before. In short, our extraordinary powers of adaptation appear to help explain why absolute living standards simply may not matter much once we escape the physical deprivations of abject poverty. This interpretation is consistent with the impressions of people who have lived or traveled extensively abroad, who report that the struggle to get ahead seems to play out with much the same psychological effects in rich societies as in those with more modest levels of wealth.

So, therefore, the economic answer to the question as to whether money buys happiness must be in the negative. The evidence described earlier suggests that the satisfaction provided by many conspicuous forms of consumption is more context sensitive than the satisfaction provided by many less conspicuous forms of consumption. If so, this would help explain why the absolute income and consumption increases of recent decades have failed to translate into corresponding increases in measured well-being.

Hair Fall - Common Problem, Common Solutions

Posted by admin on in Make Me Beautiful

First of all, hair fall is a natural phenomenon. It is going to affect almoost everybody after a certain age. After 23-24 it’s natural that body starts shedding hair. So don’t panic much, just keep your calm and try these:

1. Protein - That’s the key. For saving your hair, you should take a protein rich diet. Raw or boiled eggs are the best. Fish is also a good resource for protein. I think you should be a non-vegetarian to save your hair.

2. Oil - Applying coconut oil is the best option to save your hair. Coconut oil helps reducing the dandruff to a large extent. And dandruff is one of the major reasons for falling hair.

3. Shampoo - Hair fall also depends upon the shampoo you are using for washing your hair. Try some of the better brands and stick to one which suits your hair best. Switching for one to another on regular bases also destroy your hair. For me heads and shoulder was the best suited.

4. Harsh chemicals - Stay away from these. Applying harsh chemicals like gels, creams and straighter etc are prohibited.

5. Beer - Now you will ask me how’s that connected to hair. I even don’t know that but when I used to drink beer my hair were healthier then they are now. But this is not testified by any lab so please use it at your own risk. I will not recommend drinking a lot of it.

Thats it.

2006 Acura CL: Traditional Yet Modern

Posted by admin on in Wheeling It

Acura, as a brand, has been holding up its share in its commitment of crafting, introducing, and bringing to the market vehicles that are engineered so as to provide excellent performance. And once again, Acura has added another vehicle to this list and at the same reinforcing the brand’s commitment. Welcome the all-new 2006 Acura CL.

The 2006 Acura CL has been redesigned and reengineered in almost every little detail possible. This new vehicle promises to deliver higher levels of performance, technological innovations, engineering achievements, passenger safety, and overall style. It has also been destined to compete with the existing BMW 328Ci, the Volvo C70, and the Mercedes Benz CLK320. This vehicle has been again designed so as to provide and exude the smooth and flowing lines of the classic coupes of the European Gran Turismo. However, this does not overbear the styling that is only from an Acura. Making the 2006 Acura CL a remarkable vehicle is that it has been able to combine the past, tradition, and heritage with modernity and technology. This vehicle surely possesses encompassing efficiency with its powerful engines, as well as revolutionary safety features and high technology vehicle management systems that are controls by computers.

There are two engine options for the 2006 Acura CL. It is either the Acura 3.2 liter VTEC V6 engine with 24 valves, or the 3.2 power plant that has the capacity to create 225 horsepower. As per interior volume, this all-new vehicle sports 96.5 cubic feet of this, which is a 4.6 cubic feet increase from the previous vehicle. It also sports some 192.0 inches of length and 70.6 inches in its width. Safety features have been packed in this vehicle. The list includes standard front airbags, advanced side airbags with front passenger height and position sensors, and the standard anti-lock brakes as well as the Traction Control System.

Offered as an option for the 2006 Acura CL is the Acura Navigation System. This system provides a satellite-linked nationwide coverage done through the use of a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) database located on board. The vehicle also sports modifications like CompTech cold air intake, certified exhaust headers, CompTech high-flow exhaust system, Brembo brakes, sport suspension with Titanium front upper strut bar, 19-inch Maya DTM wheels, front and rear bumpers with side moldings, a deck lid tail spoiler, and custom aluminum exhaust tips.

The 2006 Acura CL is one coupe that is really worth looking into. Although this vehicle has its share of downs like a confusing navigation system controls, and cramped head room as well as entry and exit for the rear seats, the 2006 Acura CL still shines amidst these with its quick acceleration, smooth steering as well as handling, and a perfect build quality.

Horseshoe Jewelry

Posted by admin on March 29, 2008 in Best Jewelry

No jewelry collection is complete without a good-luck charm. A horseshoe is considered a lucky charm in many parts of the world. It is believed that a horseshoe keeps evil away. So what better way is there to sport a lucky charm than to wear jewelry shaped as a horseshoe?

It is incredible how artistically the theme of horseshoes can be used to craft beautiful pieces of jewelry. From necklaces and pendants to rings and earrings, any type of jewelry can be fashioned after a horseshoe. Youngsters these days are sporting trendy horseshoe-shaped body jewelry like eyebrow rings, belly-button rings, nose rings and tongue rings.

Furthermore, the variety of designs available in the market is unlimited. Jewelry designers make use of all kinds of material to craft stunning pieces of horseshoe jewelry. It is cast in a range of precious metals like silver, gold, white gold, platinum and even surgical steel. More often than not, horseshoe jewelry is studded with diamonds, which impart a dazzling look to it. Other gemstones like peridot, rhinestone and black onyx are also used quite frequently. Some of the modern-day jewelry is also made of acrylic and titanium.

Though a simple horseshoe with its mystical shape looks exquisite, jewelry artists often innovate with the designs, crafting jewelry with two or more horseshoes. Some designs have a horsehead placed beautifully inside the horseshoe. One can also get rings with letters of the alphabet inscribed inside the curve of a horseshoe. Some creative designers have gone as far as making horseshoe jewelry that glows in the dark.

With its immense variety and mystical significance, horseshoe jewelry forms not only an important part of any jewelry collection, but it also acts as a perfect present for horse enthusiasts.

5 ways you can stay warm in winter

Posted by admin on in Helpful Stuff

How can you keep warm in winter?

I remember the movie The Day After Tomorrow. Where the people
were facing an ice age ahead, with temperatures so cold your
blood could freeze instantly.

Everyone was working hard on keeping warm. They were hiding in a
library which was really convenient. You wouldn’t run out of
things to burn in a library that is full of books. In their
effort to stay warm, they kept their fireplace ablaze by burning
library books, feeding the fire continually for that much needed
warmth.

A homeless guy who had to survive winter in the streets crushed
up paper and stuffed his clothes with them for insulation.
Insulate your clothing to keep the warmth in and the cold out.
Crushing the paper trapped air. Air is a great insulator of
heat. So that made a lot of sense.

#1 Generate heat.

To generate heat, most modern homes have a proper heating
system. Just make sure you pay your heating bills. If you can’t
pay the bills, get your bills paid on your behalf. For example,
if you are a U.S. resident, here’s where you can get free
heating.

If you use an old fashion log fireplace, stock up on plenty of
firewood in case you get snowed in.

#2 Layer your clothing

Wear layers of clothing to keep warm. Start off with a base
layer. The thermal
underwear. Ideally, your thermal underwear should fit like
second skin. The goal is to keep your body heat in. Pure cotton
thermal underwear would probably work if the temperature is
above 5 degrees celsius. Colder than that and you need something
much warmer. Like merino
wool. Or a base layer that is suitable for snow sports, like
the Duofold
Insulayer thermal underwear which has 2 layers of fabric
that trap air between the layers, for added insulation.

On top of the thermal underwear, you might want to wear a wool
sweater and thick denim jeans
or wool pants. You might want to add on a warm jacket or even a
trenchcoat over the sweater. Depending on the severity of cold
you might face, you might want to add more layers. Don’t forget
your gloves , scarve, woolen hat, ear muffs and boots. If it is
really very cold, you might even need a ski mask.

#3 Drink warming liquids

Drinking a cup of ginger tea helps you body fight the cold too.
Drinking plenty of hot soup at meals warms up the body
beautifully.

#4 Bring a warm shawl

Carry along a cashmere
throw, or at least a wool wrap with you so you can wrap that
around you when you need additional warmth.

#5 Keep one another warm

Finally, huddle up close to a loved warm so you can keep each
other warm. That’s how our ancestors survived the cold winters
